What shapes your quote

size · temperament · coat condition · frequency of visits

We understand that pricing is an important part of deciding what kind of grooming your dog needs, how often to visit, and whether we’re the right fit for your pup at all. Pricing is genuinely hard to gauge over the phone — without seeing your dog in person, it’s difficult to know exactly what we’re working with.

A Chihuahua and a Toy Poodle may be close in size, but they’re not close in effort — take Jose, our resident Chihuahua client, who despises having his nails done and often needs extra time (and an extra set of hands) to get through it calmly. Temperament changes the work, even when size doesn’t.

The same goes for coat and frequency: Didier, a Poodle who visits every three weeks, is a very different appointment than Didier after six weeks with no brush in sight. The longer a coat goes unmaintained, the more time, care, and effort it takes to bring it back — and that’s reflected in the price.

Training program

Puppies

Like every new client, your puppy starts with 4 complimentary introductory visits. How that works.

If your dog is a puppy, we ask for appointments every 4 weeks for the first 6 months. These visits focus on grooming training — gently introducing the table, safety loop, dryers, brushing, clippers, and handling of ears and paws. Grooming is a learned experience: through repetition and consistency, puppies become confident and comfortable with the process. After the first 6 months you may widen the window between appointments, up to 8 weeks.
